Aspley Associates LLP are Consulting Structural Engineers with offices in Dorchester, Dorset.  Established in 1987, the Partners are Chartered Engineers and Members of the Institution of Structural Engineers.

• Structural design work in steel, concrete, timber and masonry including work on sensitive, historic and Listed buildings.
• Geotechnical engineering design and advice including foundations, retaining structures, basements, procurement of site and ground investigations, contaminated land and subsidence reports.
• Forensic assessment of defects/failures, Expert Witness reports and reports on the structural condition of commercial and residential properties for landlords, vendors and purchasers.

Since its inception, the practice has been responsible for the structural design of over 5,000 projects ranging in scale from new hospitals, new schools, factories, commercial buildings and housing schemes, to the simplest internal alterations of domestic dwellings. Our regular clients include national companies, local authorities, NHS Trusts as well as many Dorset based Architects, developers and steel fabricators.

We embrace the use of modern computer technology to maximize the efficiency of both our designs and the service we provide, but also have the experience to use these tools wisely and provide practical solutions to the design issues presented.
